Meet Rachel

Since childhood, Rachel has been passionate about food, cooking, and spreading joy—passions that led her to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Her professional journey included roles at Johnny Rockets, Marriott, and Lettuce Entertain You, all of which gave her a deep understanding of hospitality and food service.

In 2013, after moving from Chicago to Dallas, Rachel began baking banana bread as a way to feel connected to home. After sharing it with friends and receiving overwhelming encouragement, she began selling it—hesitantly at first. But by 2017, She’s Gone Bananas was officially born.

Rachel has operated She’s Gone Bananas for over 10 years and moved the business to Prosper in 2021. “We fell in love with our home and community,” she says. “We even customized our kitchen to support my growing business.” She runs the entire operation solo—from baking to decorating to delivery.
