Prosper has gained a sweet new addition with the opening of Swirled Star Delights, a home-based cottage bakery owned and operated by Theshia Geitz. Since opening in February 2024, Theshia has been delighting the community with her fresh-baked artisan breads, gourmet swirls, and her signature creation, the beautifully designed and irresistibly delicious Star Bread that started it all.

For more than six years, Prosper has been home to the Geitz family, and it was here that Theshia’s love for baking truly flourished. Encouraged by friends and neighbors who couldn’t get enough of her unique baked goods, she decided to turn her passion into a business.

“Prosper has such a supportive community for small businesses,” Theshia shares. “Even as the town grows, it still has that small-town feel that makes it special, while also offering opportunities to connect and grow with others.”
