To extend our gratitude, we have established the "Spotlight Series" which will feature the developers who have and continue to choose Prosper for various projects. 

It is our pleasure to feature Dan Hawkins, Black Hawk Brewery

In November of 2020, Dan and his family made the move to Prosper, TX. The transition to Prosper was nothing short of a blessing, and as they settled into this vibrant community, they couldn't help but notice a growing demand. It became abundantly clear that Prosper was in need of more distinct, family-friendly, and independent restaurants. This realization sparked an idea: why not introduce a brewery to the historic downtown area?

With this vision in mind, they took the plunge and acquired the corner lot at the intersection of West Broadway and McKinley, a property previously owned by Brown and Griffin. The project involves the construction of a spacious 12,000 square-foot establishment that will serve as a full-service restaurant and brewery, complete with a captivating rooftop bar.

Dan was recently awarded the DFW area to open 20 locations for the Franchise Concept Slice House by Tony Gemignani. This venture promises to introduce the North Texas region to an exceptional range of delectable pizzas. As they forge ahead, they are actively scouting for suitable locations to bring this mouthwatering experience to the local community.
