Prosper EDC Initiatives

The PEDC’s strategies focus on attracting, creating, and retaining businesses that align with Prosper’s assets and produce revenues necessary to the operation of Town services.

The businesses and investment considerations must be ones which contribute to the vision the Town Council and residents have for the sustainable and positive growth of Prosper. However, they must be in alignment with the agreed upon vision for continued prosperity set forth by Council and supported by the PEDC. The PEDC, on a continuous basis, analyzes the local economic context; identifies economic opportunities and resources; and collaborates with industry, government, academic, and community stakeholders.
