Crossland Construction has a rich history rooted in hard work, community focus, and a commitment to quality. In 2007, when discussions were had about expanding into the Dallas-Fort Worth region, we prioritized finding a location aligned with our values and long-term vision.
Prosper stood out not only because of its strategic location but also because of the small-town charm and strong sense of community. We realized Prosper was more than just a growing town; it was a place where families could flourish, meaningful connections were built, and our team would feel right at home.
Once it was clear that Prosper was the right place to invest and establish our presence, we acquired 10 acres on Coleman Street to build our new office while also creating quality space for other businesses to lease. Our company culture is built on similar values that Prosper holds dear—family and community. It felt like a natural fit for us to be part of the town's growth. “We saw Prosper as a place where we could build long-lasting relationships, not just in terms of business but also as active contributors to the community,” says Michelle Crossland Meeks, Director of Business Development. Our employees have found a workplace and a town where they can build their futures.
Crossland has truly enjoyed being part of this evolving community, and we’ve been fortunate to play a role in that growth. We’ve had the opportunity to contribute to local organizations such as the Prosper Chamber of Commerce, the Prosper Ladies Association, Cornerstone NCT, Tuman Breast Cancer Foundation, and Mane Gate Therapeutic Horsemanship. It is an honor to support causes that make a difference in people’s lives.
“Prosper has given us a place to grow our business and a community we proudly call home,” says Rocky Hussman, VP of Texas Region.
“We are also very proud of our strong relationships with the Town of Prosper, the Prosper Economic Development Corporation, and Prosper ISD.” These relationships have enabled us to contribute to the town's growth in meaningful ways, including several key projects such as Prosper Business Park, Gates of Prosper, Tuscan Town Center, Eagle’s Crossing, Gateway Church, and Prosper United Methodist Church, which have helped shape the community and provided opportunities for us to demonstrate our commitment to quality construction experiences.
